This unit includes a Flat Bracket Mount which clamps to a flat edge such as the edge of your sump or support on your stand. The GRO uses all its power to emit light in two specific wavelengths that are optimized for macroalgae growth – 455-460nm and 620-670nm. This combined with its rectangular shape (have you ever seen a round refugium?) means that the right light goes right where you need it – and minimizes nuisance algae growth in other areas of your sump due to light spillage. Some of the most successful reef aquariums employ the use of a macroalgae-filled growth area or refugium for the purpose of nutrient control. Growing and harvesting macroalgae in a compartment in your sump, or in a full-blown refugium, is the natural way to reduce unwanted nutrients in your reef aquarium. It also creates a home and reproductive area for beneficial micro-fauna that consume waste and provide a food source for corals and fish. On a scheduled basis, the Trident draws a small water sample from the aquarium, mixes it with reagent, and precisely measures the color change using a controlled peristaltic pump system. Once the test is complete, the sample and reagent are expelled to an external waste container, and the measured value is logged into the Apex. This process repeats automatically based on the testing schedule you define. Apex Integration & Alerts All Trident test results are displayed in Apex Fusion, where data is stored, graphed, and analyzed over time. Users can configure alerts to notify them if alkalinity, calcium, or magnesium move outside of a defined safe range. Made from acrylic and with strong neodymium magnets Works securely on sumps and aquariums up to 1/2" thick   Dimensions - 4" long by 2.5" deep with the screws all the way backed out.   Neptune has designed a Magnetic probe rack that will hold up to 4 probes with one hole being slightly over-sized to hold those larger probes like the Neptune temp probe. By simply placing the MPR in your sump or tank, you can now securely hold all your probes in a single spot. If a probe is left loose their is a good chance it may float with the business end being exposed to the air and causing a false reading.
