CO2- magnetic valves (night shut-off) (Solenoid valve)
The magnetic valve enables you to switch off the CO2 supply in the aquarium if necessary – e.g. to regulate the pH or overnight.
Up to 50% of CO2 can be saved by switching of the supply at night as photosynthesis only takes place in daylight where plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. At night or without light, the plants consume oxygen, therefore CO2 fertilisation would not be beneficial.
EHEIM CO2 – 24V magnetic valve for powerLED+
This magnetic valve has been specially developed for the EHEIM LEDcontrol+ lighting control system. It is connected to the EHEIM powerLED+ lighting and LEDcontrol+ and switches off the supply of CO2 during the sunset phase overnight. At dawn, the CO2 supply is reactivated. The magnetic valve can also be operated without LEDcontrol+ with a standard timer. Attention: The magnetic valve is not dimmable.
