Reef Octopus Warranty
Reefamorous and Reef Octopus warrant this product against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the warranty periods, conditions, and limitations stated below.
Warranty Coverage Periods
Coverage varies by component. The applicable warranty period begins on the original date of purchase.
Reef Octopus Controller
Limited warranty coverage for Reef Octopus-branded controllers.
Electrical & Wear Components
Power supply, impeller and related components, rotor, rear bushing, and gaskets.
Warranty Activation:
The warranty becomes effective on the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase may be required when submitting a warranty claim.
Conditions of the Standard Limited Warranty
This Standard Limited Warranty applies only when all of the following conditions are met:

The product remains in the possession of the original purchaser.

The product has not been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, improper handling, or use outside its intended purpose.
3
The product has not been modified, altered, defaced, or repaired—or had any repair attempted—by anyone other than Reefamorous or an authorized party.
4
Reefamorous is notified in writing within ten (10) days from the date the owner or the owner’s agent first becomes aware of the suspected defect.
5
Reefamorous is given the first opportunity to inspect the product and perform any necessary repair, replacement, or correction within a reasonable period of time.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances shall Reefamorous and/or the manufacturer be liable, whether under this warranty or otherwise, for injury to any person, damage to any property, or for any special, indirect, incidental, secondary, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product due to an alleged or confirmed defect.
