BRS General Bonding Super Glue has a water-like consistency. If you need thicker super glue for your project, we have BRS Extra Thick Super Glue Gel available. The BRS General Bonding Glue has been selected to provide the perfect consistency for aquascaping projects where a thinner glue is needed to get into small gaps between rocks and bond them together. BRS General Bonding Glue is reef safe and ideal for aquascaping with dry live rock. Lower viscosity super glues work better in these cases because they will quickly move to fill in tight gaps between bonding surfaces better than thicker superglues and will provide a fast and secure bond with lower cure times. This allows them to work well for placement between smaller rock pieces when creating a larger structure. This glue can also be used in conjunction with a small amount of mortar or epoxy where there is a need to fill a slightly larger gap between rocks. Thinner glues like this work well for close surface to surface bonds and can also work well for attaching some coral types such as zoanthid mats. Note: Dispensing tips may clog after use, but can be cleaned with acetone to remove excess glue.

Insta-set accelerator will help speed up the set time of any cyanoacrylate super glue. The most frustrating thing about fragging coral is the time you need to wait for the glue to set, or the frag may simply just fall over and get glue all over. With the accelerator that time spent waiting will be significantly reduced leaving more time for gluing more frags and enjoying your tank. Insta-set is not like other accelerators that smell horrible and have a very strong chemical smell. Bob Smith has put a strawberry scent in their accelerator to make use enjoyable. Insta-set is very easy and safe to use, simply just glue your frag to your plug or tile like you normally would, and then spray a very small amount of Insta-set on the glue, and place in tank water immediately after applying the accelerator due to the heat that will be generated. Special Notes: Keep out of reach of children When using a super glue accelerator it is important to manage the heat that can be produced. With live rock it is not as important to monitor the heat that will be generated from the reaction that will occur, however with coral it is imperative to place the frag in water immediately after applying the Insta-set. Just as long as the heat is monitored Insta-set is very safe to use for many different purposes in the reef tank and around the house.

Particulate Nutrient Supply for New Reef Aquariums Use for the First 2-3 Months of Cycling Phase Stimulates the Microbiome Includes Trace Elements Like Iodide, Fluoride & Bromide Tropic Marin Phos-Start contains natural marine biopolymers as bacterial food to stimulate the microbiome in the startup phase of the new marine aquarium. Phos-Start is particularly well suited for starting reef tanks using dry rock or for bare bottom tanks. These aquariums typically have a low supply of organic bacterial food and nutrients to stimulate bacterial and coralline algae growth. Phos-Start will fill the gap in nutrient and mineral supply and works to promote good coralline algae growth. It also prepares the aquarium to support and grow corals, including the most sensitive SPS. The microbiome is supplied with vital particulate phosphate as well as bacterial food, calcium, and trace elements as fine particles. The nutrients are dosed in a targeted manner, avoiding unwanted nutrient increases in the water column. Later, these particles can be easily filtered out of the water and/or utilized by the corals resulting in increased coral growth with natural forms in the skeletal structure and bright colors, just like in a thriving coral reef under natural conditions. After completion of the system cycling and first 2-3 months of the system’s operation, we recommend Tropic Marin Phos-Feed for targeted phosphate dosing. Directions for Use: Use for the first 2-3 months during initial cycling phase and in the young aquarium. Tropic Marin Phos-Start can be added at any time of the day or night, but since the application clouds the water somewhat, it's ideal to dose Phos-Start around the time the lights on the aquarium are turned off. This also takes advantage of the nocturnal polyp opening of the corals. Half fill a container with approximately 200ml of water from the aquarium (Do NOT use reverse osmosis water) and add the calculated amount of Phos-Start. Mix powder and water well by stirring. Pour the mixture into a high flow area of the aquarium and rinse the cup with aquarium water. Dosage: Start with a daily dosage of 1 ml (small measuring spoon) Tropic Marin Phos-Start per 100 US gallons of aquarium water. If after four weeks a phosphate concentration between 0.05 ppm and 0.15 ppm is not reached in the aquarium, double the dosage to 2 ml (larger measuring spoon) per 100 US gallons. We recommend not to exceed a maximum dosage of 4 ml per 100 US gallons. Ingredients: Natural calcium carbonate microparticles, phosphate mineral powder, natural biopolymers, iodide, fluoride and bromide. Note: A temporary increase in algae growth is a normal part of a functioning startup phase in marine aquariums. This should not be a cause for concern. An initial temporary brownish discoloration of corals is an indication of the desired nutrient regulation in the aquarium and should also not be any cause for concern.

Targeted Coral Nutrient Supply Inspired by Natural Biological Principles For Stronger Growth & More Intense Colors Includes Trace Elements Like Iodide, Fluoride & Bromide Phosphate is one of the nutrients with high consumption and often low availability in the reef aquarium. Phosphate is essential in numerous growth processes of the skeleton and tissue of the coral. In a natural coral reef environment, insoluble particulates supply corals with phosphate essential for metabolism and growth. These particles can be very easily filtered out of the water and utilized by the corals. Phos-Feed is modeled after this natural phosphate supply process. Insoluble particulate phosphates are the most effective way to deliver this essential nutrient to the corals. Now, for the first time in your reef aquarium, phosphate is dosed in a targeted manner, without continuously increased phosphate concentration of the water column. As a result, coral growth is stimulated and the corals show natural patterns of skeletal development and bright colors. Directions for Use: Tropic Marin Phos-Feed can be added at any time of the day or night, but since the application clouds the water somewhat, it's ideal to dose Phos-Feed around the time the lights on the aquarium are turned off. This also takes advantage of the nocturnal polyp opening of the corals. Half fill a container with approximately 200ml of RO water and add the calculated amount of Phos-Feed. Stir well to mix the powder and water. Pour the mixture into a high flow area of the aquarium and rinse the cup with aquarium water. Dosage: Start with a daily dosage of 1 ml (small measuring spoon) Tropic Marin Phos-Feed per 50 US gallons of aquarium water. If after four weeks a phosphate concentration between 0.05 ppm and 0.15 ppm is not reached in the aquarium, double the dosage to 2 ml (larger measuring spoon) per 50 US gallons. We recommend not to exceed a maximum dosage of 4 ml per 50 US gallons. Ingredients: Phosphate Mineral Powder, Trace Elements (iodide, fluoride, and bromide); Inactive ingredient: Pro-Reef Sea Salt

The Best-In-Class Just Keeps Getting Better! The newest generation of EcoTech Radion continues to lead the way in the industry with mind-blowing improvements in light output and color. With a new LED cluster, Hybrid Hemispherically Edge Illuminating (HEI2) optical system, and diodes pushing deeper into the UV spectrum; the G6 Radions are bound to become your new favorite LED reef light. Why does BRS recommend the EcoTech Marine Radion? Quite simply, EcoTech Marine Radions are the LED’s we most often choose to light our own tanks. With the chance to use just about any light we want, there are probably more Radions in use around BRS than any other LED fixture. Through years of experience, we’ve seen the proven results in our growing, thriving reefs. From Aquaculture to the home aquarium, there is a high likelihood that the coral you know and love has been grown or “colored-up” under a generation of Radions. Features and Improvements to the Radion G6 Radions are the standard in aquarium lighting for a reason. Each generation has built upon the successful results of the last, incorporating the latest in design and technology to bring us a state-of-the-art light that blends proven results with greater ease of use. Ecotech Marine has spent significant time and effort in developing and testing lighting programs, such as the popular SPS AB+, that deliver maximum results from their fixtures and bring out the best in our corals. The Radion G6 incorporates a new Hemispherically Edge Illuminating optic system with redesigned LED placement to deliver beautiful shimmer, superior color mixing, even PAR, incredible spread, and even adjustable hues! New HEI2 Optic System Super-Wide 126.3 Degree Spread 395nm Diodes for Ultimate Fluorescence Rebalanced Color Channels and LED Mix Even PAR & High Output-- Almost 4ft of Coverage Area Moonlight & Weather Simulation Proven CoralLab AB+ Spectrum Fully Programmable Wireless Mobius App control Mind-Blowing Spread with HEI2 Optical System The Radion G6 achieves its mind-blowing 126.3 degree spread through a new and improved optical system. EcoTech implemented a change to the primary lens on the LEDs, which then integrates with the geometry of the existing HEI (Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) secondary lens to increase the output from an already impressive 110.5 to an outstanding 126.3 degrees! The super-wide spread has an added benefit of increasing output by reflecting off the aquarium side glass walls and reflecting light back into the tank, thus reducing shadows and providing light to the undersides of corals. This means that you can now light your tanks with even less fixtures! The G6 has the highest average output out of all Radions and can provide even PAR across almost four feet of coverage area, making it perhaps the most efficient aquarium light made to date. Blue vs. Pro The Radion G6 BLUE has gotten even bluer! Adjustments to the diode mix and the addition of 395nm offer new depths of color intensity and increased fluorescence. With the G6, you now have the ability to tune the Blue between actinic and crisp to find the perfect aesthetics for your tank. The Radion G6 PRO is what you see as the lighting of choice in many public aquariums, aquaculture facilities, and coral spawning laboratories worldwide. It features a balanced LED mix with proven spectrums similar to the output of Metal Halide lighting. Compact & Sleek, High-Quality Design EcoTech Marine aims to produce the most minimally intrusive reef aquarium equipment available. The G6 continues to showcase Radion’s sleek styling, small footprint, and quiet fan with revolutionary heatsink. The Radion boasts a technologically superior design with premium quality components and unmatched customer support. Better yet, the Radion G6 is still backwards compatible with the extensive mounting options and accessories available to the previous generation of Radion, so you can still customize your lighting experience to fit your individual aquarium needs. Mobius Control More colors mean more channels, and with Mobius, programming and controlling your G6 is even easier and faster. Mobius means almost instant setup and programming. Local wireless control and programming can be accomplished with either current OS version iOS or Android smart device. Experience the ultimate app-based control at your fingertips-- no separate controller purchase required! With the Mobius smart control platform, you can connect, control, and program your entire collection of EcoTech equipment easily with your iOS or Android smart device. That means centralized control of pumps, lights, dosing, and flow without needing to purchase expensive modules and controllers. A unique proportional consumption formula created and been used by Akil from Euro Corals to breed and produce spectacular corals. Modern Reef – Reef Keeping System is the base of our proportional consumption reef-keeping system with Complete Reef Food and Polypop. Once you find the maintenance dosage and ideal KH level, our system will provide your reef with all it needs to thrive and color up by proportion of consumption of KH (carbonate hardness) and Ca (calcium). Developed to enhance one of the most challenging pigments in reef keeping yellow and orange pigments Enhance red, pink, blue, and purple pigments, especially the body and polyps of Acropora corals Stimulate non-fluorescent chromoproteins for better pigmentation Designed for blue side spectrum light reef aquariums for better fluorescent proteins or reflective pigments excitation and stimulation The growth rate is highly improved when used with Complete Reef Food and can be boosted more with a correct white side spectrum light, but the RKS will be consumed more Improves water clarity by enhancing the propagation of sponges and sea squirts No need to test for magnesium and calcium constantly, only KH No need for any other 3rd product like amino acids, mixed trace elements, or any other tagged for coral coloration, polyp extensions, or growth (only Modern Reef – Complete Reef Food and Polypop) Proportional consumption reef-keeping system dosed by calculation to avoid overdose or unnecessary accumulations that may cause problems Free of Nitrates (no3) or Phosphates (po4) Will adapt to any aquarium setup and nutrient export method by finding the maintenance of KH and the ideal KH level that the reef aquarium should use with the calcium level Concentration:10ml x100 liters will raise 1dKH Preparation:Modern Reef All-in-one RKS is ready to use 4-equal parts liquid. It can be dosed by hand, but it is recommended to be used using a dosing pump. Especially for SPS dominant reef aquariums. Preferable with a dosing pump that can be calibrated with 4 heads. If your doser has only 3 heads, you can combine one part of BASE-KH1 with one part of BASE-KH2 in one canister or container. In this case, you will have to multiply the combined BASE KH1 and KH2 dosage by 2. Please consider these tips to improve the pump performance for accurate dosing and a stable reef aquarium: The tubing from the canisters to the dosing pump heads should have the same length, and also from the pumps to your aquarium should have the same length. This will make the pumps have the same conditions, and calibration will be more constant between them. Calibrate your dosing pump following the recommendation of the manufacturer. Don’t forget to check the calibration every 6 months and recalibrate if needed. Set the doser to dose equal parts and give at least 10 minutes between each dosing pump. Ideally, start with KH1, then CAL, then KH2, then MAG, with a 10-15 minutes gap. Spread the daily dosage as many times as your dosing pump allows it per day. Dosage:Simply dose equal parts from each to keep KH between 6.8-8dKH, and all the rest will be proportionally kept. For the first 2 weeks, try to find the ideal KH level for your reef aquarium light spectrum based on calcium consumption. In other words, please dose equal parts to keep calcium stable between 380-420ppm and then test your KH to find your Ideal KH level keeping it between 6.8-8dKH. This way, our Modern Reef All-in-one RKS will adapt to your aquarium setup consumption and not the other way around. Example 1: If you are dosing equal parts from each to keep KH at 7.5 and your calcium is going down, raise your dosage to increase and keep KH at 7.7 and check calcium again. Repeat if needed. Once you find the ideal KH level for your tank, you don’t need to test calcium often. Example 2: If you are dosing equal parts from each to keep KH at 8 and your calcium is going up, lower your dosage to decrease and keep KH at 7.8 and check calcium again. Repeat if needed. Once you find the ideal KH level for your tank, you don’t need to test calcium often. Our Modern Reef All-in-one RKS doesn’t need to be shaken or any type of magnetic stirrer. Precaution:You don’t need to use any product like amino acids, mixed trace elements or any other tagged for coral coloration, polyp extensions, or growth. All are included by proportional consumption except solid food. Avoid them when using this product. Please keep this product in the dark or shadow place. Never under direct sun or any other type of light. Preferable to be used in the original canisters that they come with. If you have transparent containers, make sure that there is no light source near them. Direct strong light can make some elements unstable, and because this product contains a sort of “life source”, some microorganisms may start multiplying in the transparent containers if direct light is present. The original canisters should protect the liquid enough from any light, but it is better to avoid direct sun or aquarium light. This product doesn’t need to be refrigerated, but if you need to store it, do it in a cool place.
