Triton Detox is composed of different organics that specialize in binding to heavy metals that in excess can be harmful to your aquarium. Detox is the only product on the market that can actually remove copper down to undetectable levels with ICP testing. Heavy metals can be introduced to a reef tank through various items like electronics, foods, tools, and more. Some of the most common sources are faulty pump wiring, biopellets, poorly filtered source water, and foods, which in excess can cause coral to bleach with little to no polyp extension and prolonged exposure can be fatal to coral. To make sure that your tank has the correct levels make sure to employ Tritons ICP-OES testing.   Instructions: Remove any activated carbon sources from your aquarium. Add up to 3mL per 100L of water volume and let the system run for 72 hours. A brown discoloration of the aquarium water is normal and is harmless. Replace the activated carbon that was removed with fresh carbon. The new carbon will remove the brown discoloration along with the heavy metals that are bound to it.  It is highly recommended to utilize Triton ICP-OES testing for dosage requirements.

It is common to encounter a red slime or matting algae that can quickly smother your rocks and even corals which can lead unpleasing aesthetics but also can cause issues with low oxygen levels available for fish and corals. The quickest and safest way to remove red slime from a fresh or saltwater aquarium is with Chemi Clean.     Chemi Clean is by far our most favorite product for combating red slime stains in saltwater aquariums. The extremely safe formula will not harm the livestock in the tank, while effectively eliminating any red slime. Its fast acting formula will finish the job within 48 hours, by oxidizing trapped organic sludge and promoting an ideal enzyme balance. Turn off any UV sterilizers and ozonizers and remove any Chemi-pure or carbon during treatment. Continue using a protein skimmer, although skimmer may require adjustment or removal of collection cup to prevent excessive overflow. Maintain normal water flow using pumps and powerheads. Add one scoop of Chemiclean per 10 gallons of aquarium water. Successful treatment may take up to 48 hours. After the 48 hour treatment period, perform a 20% water change. Turn on any UV sterilizers and ozonators and replace with new Chemi-pure or carbon removed previously.   *It is very common for protein skimmers to over skim for a period of time during and after treatment, which is completely normal. We suggest monitoring the skimmer cup and removing any collected skimmate from the aquarium and not letting it drain back into your aquarium. If your skimmer is overflowing too fast, you can try restricting the air supply feeding the skimmer and that will decrease the amount of bubbles being formed or simply physically raising the skimmer body will allow for a faster drain and a dryer skimmate to be produced. Replace any removed water with freshly mixed saltwater.   Chemi Clean will remove and clean stains from red, black, blue-green, and methane producing cyanobacteria in marine aquariums.   Note: When using Chemi Clean it is very important to monitor oxygen and pH levels within the aquarium. We suggest pointing a powerhead or air stone at the surface of the aquarium to maximize gas exchange. Failure to do so can cause low oxygen levels in the aquarium.

AEFW X the solution against Acropora eating flatworms AEFW X works specifically against Acropora flatworms (“AEFW” and “NAEFW”). The special composition of the product blocks the larval development so that the metamorphosis producing reproductive adults is not accomplished. Adults of these species also stop reproducing and quit further growth. What is Medic? Medic is a highly effective water conditioner used to de-pollute water in both marine and freshwater environments. It contains a reef-safe oxidizing agent and is particularly effective against: Marine Ich - Crytpocaryon irritans, Freshwater Ich - Ichthyophthirius, and Marine Velvet - Amyloodinium ocellatum. Does not harm invertebrates and does not harm nitrifying bacteria. Many external fish parasites have very similar life cycles. In particular, these parasites have an "attached stage (trophonts), a "matured" stage (protomonts, a "reproductive" stage (tomonts), and a "free-swimming" stage (theronts/dinospores). Most available Products do not target the free-swimming stage of the parasite which is one of the primarily difficulties in dealing with these problems. Research with dilated protozoans has shown that the "free-swimming" stage of parasites have remarkably consistent hatching times. Our conditioner targets the trophont stage of the parasite but is also disrupting the life cycle during the "free-swimming timeframe - when the oxidative component in the conditioner is particularly effective against theronts/dinospores. Directions: For in tank treatment: Use one level scoop of Medic for every 190L (50 Gallons) of your system volume twice per day For serious problems use (3)  level scoop for every 190L (50 Gallons) of your system volume. Add once in the morning, and once in the evening. Continue to Add for 10 days up to a maximum of 20 days. Note: Ozone and carbon must not be used during the treatment. Protein skimmers can be run as as normal. UV filter can be used one hour after dosing. The problem may seem to disappear when white specks are no longer visible on the fish. This is merely part of the natural cycle of the parasite and you must continue adding the product for the minimum entire course (10 days). Once complete, run granular activated carbon for 2 or 3 days.
