Even in well-established tanks, corals sometimes die for unknown reasons. Nyos identified an imbalance in the bacterial population as the cause, in which pathogenic germs (e.g. vibrios) are present. Nyos BYOTIC restores the natural biological bacterial balance. It is recommended to use it not only in the event of problems, but also as a precaution.
Dosing Instructions: (Dosing spoon 2.5ml = 2g / 5ml = 4g)
Dosage in case of problems: 1g/100 liters (1g / 25 gal) daily for 3-5 days, then 0.5g/100 liters (0.5g / 25 gal) daily until the symptoms have disappeared.
Preventative dosage: 0.5g/100 liters (0.5g / 25 gal) once a week
Dissolve the required amount of BYOTIC in a separate container with tank water and then add to the aquarium
Other Notes: Turn off the UV clarifier during treatment. Higher dosages may lead to a slight drop in nutrient values (nitrate and phosphate)
