The Purple Stripe Dottyback, scientifically known as Pseudochromis diadema, is also commonly called the Diadem Dottyback or Diadem Pseudochromis. This colorful reef fish is easily recognized by its bright yellow body highlighted by a vivid purple stripe running the length of its body just beneath the dorsal fin, creating a striking contrast in the aquarium.
Known for its bold and inquisitive personality, this species spends much of its time exploring caves and swimming through live rock. With adequate hiding places and a stable environment, it adapts well to reef aquariums and quickly becomes an active display fish.
