The Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse, scientifically known as Cirrhilabrus isosceles, is one of the most elegant and visually striking members of the Fairy Wrasse group. Native to waters extending from Japan to the Philippines, it inhabits rocky areas along outer reef slopes. Its soft pastel coloration combines shades of pink, yellow, and orange, while its beautifully pointed tail gives it a distinctive and graceful appearance.
Like other Fairy Wrasses, males display noticeably brighter coloration during courtship and social displays. The intensity of their colors may also vary depending on mood, health, and environmental conditions.
